This summer I chose to do the Trails Camp at Luther Heights Bible Camp instead of the week at camp for Intermediates. At Trails Camp you go backpacking in the Sawtooth wilderness for 5 days. Each kid carried food, gear and clothes in their backpacks. We backpacked up to lakes such as the 4th of July lake and Washington lake. We cooked our own meals. I liked the spaghetti dinner and the cheesecake dessert the best! One morning we woke up very early to try and peak a mountain. We made it to the top of Blackman one day, and got really close the the summit of "ten-seven-one-three" (10,713 ft.) mountain on another day. In the morning or afternoon, we'd sing songs, worship and have bible study. Each night, the girls would go to our tent and play cards before bed. It was a really great trip, but a little tiring too!
